TYRANNOSAURUS REX (T-REX)

You know, when I first watch Steven Spielberg's 1993 classic "Jurassic Park", these little (or should I say gargantuan) buggers scared the hell out of me. Why? Well, not only are they carnivorous beasts, but they are also large and were said to be able to run at a maximum speed of 30 miles an hour! Compared to a human that's pretty quick.

VELOCORAPTOR (RAPTOR)

The most common-seen dinosaur on the Lost World plateau, velocoraptors (commonly called Raptors) travel in packs of three. They're quick, sneaky and can take both your legs off with one bite. The gang usually send Roxton out to hunt these guys because - get this - they eat Raptors for lunch (and Raptors want to eat them for lunch.. how ironic)

PTERODACTYL*

Known as "the feathered dinosaur" or "prehistoric birds" these creatures are far from feathery and cute. Nor do they sing, friends. No. Carnivorous and larger than a human being, Pterodactyls feed on smaller dinosaurs (and have even been known to try and feed on our beloved explorer once or twice too)

* Could be Pterandon, as they are some times referred to as this.

Coming soon: Triceratops, Brachiosaurus
